Risk disclosure
Every TierHop service uses real, paid hotel bookings and official program mechanics. Some of them still sit outside the spirit of the loyalty program terms. Read this before you buy.
Program terms notice
Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and IHG write their own terms and can change or enforce them at any time. A program can review an account, reverse nights or points, remove a tier or, in rare cases, close an account. TierHop is not affiliated with any of these programs.
Risk by service
- Award and upgrade - low. Uses normal program rules.
- Mattress run - medium. Nights you do not sleep in can be questioned.
- Status challenge - medium. Official challenge, but completed with managed nights. One challenge per member.
- Friends & Family rate - medium. A hotel can ask for proof at check-in or switch you to a public rate.
- Instant Elite - high. A tier without qualifying activity is the most likely to be reviewed or removed.
How we limit risk
- We never ask for your password, login codes or email access.
- We pace bookings across dates and properties.
- We decline requests that would put your account at real risk.
- Every order has a 30-day refund rule, set out on each offer page.
